The stay at Maison Albar Hotels L'Imperator was perfectly pleasant for a vacation. the breakfast was more than adequate and above average with omelets, goodies, and pastries that I liked. - the location is prime, just off superb gardens, and Imperator, making it easily accessible.

The pool was good and I had refreshing drinks in the lounge bar. Well-appointed and nicely furnished rooms with 2 bathrooms and very good service - just as I expected.

Charming Hotel with a Great Location
We recently stayed at a hotel in Nimes and had a lovely experience. The lobby and courtyard were beautiful, creating a charming atmosphere. Our room, although a bit old-fashioned, was spacious and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city. The breakfast provided in the calm courtyard was delicious, offering plenty of choices. The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance to the main attractions of the city. The staff, especially Daniel at breakfast, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its charm, convenient location, and friendly staff.

Nice lounge and garden
Bad service, poor management. No record of my reservation on arrival. Requests repeatedly ignored (more hangers, double bed, clean tumblers). Breakfast shockingly rationed and not refilled and chef couldn't fry an egg without burning it. Very noisy rooms largely due to coach parties, which seem to encompass most guests. Poor A/C

The decor of the hotel was absolutely stunning, it had a charming and tasteful 19th-century style that we adored. Despite the vintage feel, the hotel still offered modern amenities, making our stay comfortable and convenient. The location was perfect, situated in the heart of the city and within walking distance to all the major sights. We especially loved the fact that there was a beautiful park just 5 minutes away, a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature during our city trip.
Although the hotel had a lot of positives, there were a few minor downsides. Some of the walls in our room were a bit faded, which took away from the overall cleanliness.

Extremely pleasant staff who were always willing to help/advise. We stayed in a Junior Suite which had plenty of space. The amenities were good, including a coffee maker with capsules. The buffet breakfast was very nice and quality of food was above average. Calm and pleasant setting for breakfast with good service.
The ony thing we didn't like was the ducet was very thick and was far too hot for the month of September. We turned The air conditioning to its coldest setting but it still wasn't sufficient to produce a good and restful sleep. On both nights we stayed we were overheated and didn't sleep well. I believe the management should have duvets for wont and duvets for summer months.

The restaurant was good with mouth watering food superbly presented, we ordered delicious dishes. And there was a great view to the beautiful garden.
We didn't have milk, were a little disappointed.

The old-fashioned atmosphere
An evening jazz concert in the hotel garden, just outside our window. We hadn't been informed in advance about it. Fortunately, it ended before midnight.

Staff was super friendly. Breakfast buffet was epic. Super location to sites and restaurants. Parking was made easier by valet. Good air conditioning.
Rooms were antiquated and needed some repair (bathroom).

The hotel had a vintage feel which added to its charm. The location was great as it was close to restaurants and shops. The room had a comfortable bed and the bathroom was modern.
The room was slightly small and the breakfast options were limited. However, the staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel has a good location near the ancient Roman temple - Maison Carrée - and the public park, Jardin de la Fontaine. But the hotel is in an old building which has seen better days. The lift is a very old-fashioned model. We had a nice room on the second floor with a nice bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel has wi-fi and it is free, but the quality is not high. The signal is not strong and the speed is not high. The network is unstable. Sometimes we would be disconnected, even though we were still in the room. The hotel needs to upgrade its wi-fi system.

The character of the hotel was mind-blowing, taking us back in time with its nostalgic appeal. The creaking floorboards and the properly working old lift added to the charm. Our room was super with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the front. The highlight was the restaurant, with its knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive staff providing a jaw-dropping dining experience. All the staff were great and the turn down service was attentive. The pool area was really nice, and we had no trouble finding a sun lounger. The location was convenient for exploring nearby towns, and the staff were excellent in helping with any requests. The courtyard view and secure parking were well worth the extra payment, offering peace of mind and stress-free valet parking. a thoroughly enjoyable stay and a super property with a very friendly and helpful staff.
